Firelight East Community Development District
Firelight East Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on February 27, 2024 by the Board of County Commissioners of Charlotte County, Florida, Ordinance No. 2024-001 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities.
Firelight East CDD encompasses an area of approximately 338.02 acres entirely within Charlotte County, Florida. The land within the District is generally located east of Burnt Store Road and south of Zemel Road. Firelight East CDD expects to plan establish, acquire, construct or reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain additional systems and facilities.

Firelight East Community Development District is a local, special-purpose government entity authorized by Chapter 190 of the Florida Statutes as amended and established on February 27, 2024 by the Board of County Commissioners of Charlotte County, Florida, Ordinance No. 2024-001 as an alternative method of planning, acquiring, operating and maintaining community-wide improvements in planned communities. Consent is hereby given to the District's Board of Supervisors to finance, fund, plan, establish, acquire, construct, reconstruct, enlarge or extend, equip, operate, and maintain systems and facilities for parks and facilities for indoor and outdoor recreational, cultural, and educational uses, and for security, all as authorized and described by Sections 190.012(2)(a) and (2)(d), Florida Statutes.
